On April 2, 2024, Forum AWO Indonesia successfully held the Handover Ceremony and Accountability Report (LPJ) for the 2021-2024 period, conducted in a hybrid format. This event marked an important moment with the launch of the FAWO Strategic Plan for the 2024-2027 period, led by Drh. Ismau Alim, the newly appointed Chairman of Forum AWO Indonesia and ESCAS Team Leader from Australian Rural Exports Pty. Ltd.
The event was attended by key figures in the industry, including Mr. Ir. Didiek Purwanto IPU, Chairman of GAPUSPINDO; Mr. Ir. Joni Liano M.Sc, Executive Director of GAPUSPINDO; Mr. Petrus Widyantoro from IA-RMCP; and Mr. Tri Umar from LEP-MLA. The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Didiek Purwanto and Mr. Petrus Widyantoro, followed by the inauguration of the new management team for the 2024-2027 period, conducted by Mr. Joni Liano.
During the handover, Drh. Neny Santy Jelita Lumbantoruan, Chairwoman of Forum AWO Indonesia for the 2021-2024 period, symbolically handed over the plaque and the Accountability Report to her successor, Drh. Ismau Alim. As a token of appreciation for their dedication, Mr. Joni Liano also presented plaques to the core management team for the 2021-2024 period.
The event concluded with the reading of the Accountability Report by Drh. Neny Santy Jelita Lumbantoruan, followed by a discussion with the invited guests. The camaraderie was further enhanced as the event ended with an iftar (breaking of the fast) together at Atria Hotel Gading Serpong.
